Reality and Fear

So what the heck is “reality”? Wow, nice question. Is it the physical manifestation of what we see, hear, feel, etc.? Is that true reality? Is there more to it than that? And how does our concept of reality mix with others’? If my idea of what is right for me clashes with someone else’s idea of what is right for them, and they are in close proximity and must coexist with me, how do we make things work? If I choose one thing that seems right for me, but it causes pain or something for someone else, do I need to change what I am planning? Or do I stay “true” to my own vision and let them find their own vision? The heck with them? This is mine. I am not responsible for them? Not sure. Could come across as cold. Where are the values, and how much of another’s burden do we take on if it slows down the pursuit of our own path/dreams/reality? I need some help with this, I am torn. My gut says that we have to go our own way, but in a loving, caring way. I am doing this and here is why. Please step up and take control of your own reality, do not put it on me. That is sort of how I feel. If someone is blocking your reach, you move around them, or over them, but again, in a loving, thoughtful way. It may mean that some people will be unhappy, that they have depended on you for their happiness or to help them stay grounded, or whatever, but there comes a time when you must let go. It is in the best interest for both parties. You can move on and grow, and they learn to stand up on their own. Difficult? Painful? Probably, but again, this is only in the egoic sense. When ego is involved everything is painful and difficult. Follow your path and move on, and keep your conscience clear. Sometimes change is difficult, but sometimes change is necessary.

All actions should be done out of love and caring. Sometimes you may have to face misunderstandings and fear in others who you are forced to disassociate with, but that is their fear coming through. You cannot control or eliminate their fear, that is a lesson for them to experience. So, the feeling I’m getting is to move on. Stay focused, stay in the light, and find the answers I need. Many people have developed a talent of pulling in others, and getting them involved in their own little fearful situation. Do not take on others’ burdens, you are robbing them of the lessons they need. Wow, that is strong. Enough on that.

I like the idea of releasing all fear. Going into the blowing wind with our faces forward, telling the world that here we come! No fear. No fear at all. No fear of rejection. No fear of success, either. Natural progression. Fear is an egoic invention that is 99% of the time a waste of energy, which also draws in more fearful energy, causing whatever is feared to actually be manifested. That is why some folks who seem so negative, often find that the things they worry about do happen. They are causing them to happen. Those who live with a sense of happiness and sunshine are also drawing in that kind of positive energy. So we have to watch out for the energy vampires who will live off of us, if allowed. You can be around those kinds of people all day long and be unscathed, though, if you know what is happening and refuse to buy into it. This is a lesson I’ve learned myself, and I am getting better at it all the time. There is a subtle underlying energy communication exchange that you can control. Putting out positive energy is so very easy and it comes back to you tenfold! Easiest thing in the world. But for some who haven’t done that in the past, it is difficult, they may be ruled by distrust, or fear of being made fun of, or worst of all, of rejection of some sort. I like the example of stopping in Casey’s or QuikShop or somewhere to get a snack or some gas and seeing the person behind the register. I love to joke and visit with them for 30 seconds or so, to show them I realize they are working and that I appreciate what they are doing, but most of all, I recognize them as a person. It is a brief communication between two souls that always leaves me laughing and smiling. Well, usually. Sometimes the cashier is so busy you simply pay and move on, or they don’t take the bait and kid around with you about this or that. Some actually are simply grouchy and won’t respond no matter what you do. But not many. Most respond and it is a great feeling to see them laughing.

Since it seems to be all about fear today, let me continue. Fear of change and fear of acceptance are the two that stop most people in their tracks when it comes to fulfilling their dreams. Big dreams, small dreams, everything is available to us, but giving in to fear can stop them dead. This is possibly the most important lesson we have to learn. Moving forward with faith, and clarity of desire (if aligned with our chosen path in this incarnation, of course) will lead to manifestation. To be clear, we chose where and who we are in this human incarnation, so if our “dream” to be King of England seems difficult, well, yes, it is. We are not on our true path, whether there is fear or not. We must deal within the reality we create on this earth for ourselves. It isn’t only the absence or existence of fear that leads to manifestation, but fear is the biggest factor in controlling our own reality. So fear not, go forth into the world with positive belief, and when “bad” things happen you have an opportunity to learn. And remember, you can move beyond those negative influences and people, they are not your burden, you have to keep to your own path.
